Reflections Contest




The Reflections Contest for Larson Students is sponsored by the PTA. The 2010 Reflections Theme is "Together We Can... " and Larson had great participation - the deadline for entries was Monday, November 1, 2010. Entries are judged at the Larson, AISD, and state levels. Categories for entries are:
  • Literature
  • Musical Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts
  • Dance Choreography
  • Film/Video Production

    Eighty nine (yes, 89) Larson students presented entries this year. Twemty one (21) of those entries went on to the AISD area level. Many thanks to Ms. Babbino, 6th grade teacher, for promoting Reflections. Kidist Belaineh was the 2010 Larson PTA Coordinator for Reflections.

    For the 2009-10 school year, Isabel Martinez, Larson 3rd Grader, received Honorable Mention at the state level. The Reflections Contest theme for the 2009-10 school year was "Beauty is..." and Isabel's entry used butterflies to reflect the theme.
