Dad's Club

Larson PTA has an active Dad's Club. Dads in hairnets serve students and parents an AISD Thanksgiving feast every year. Dads give teachers a long lunch one day every year and watch the children during recess. They help deliver school supplies at the beginning of the year, help set up and take down Fall Carnival booths, and they help set up for Field Days. And, one morning each month, the Dad's Club opens car doors for students as they arrive at school. Drop off runs so smoothly when they are there! We wish they could open doors every morning.

The 2010-11 School Year will offer many opportunities to expand the Dad's Club activities. And yes, grandfathers and uncles can join too.

Doug Hosea is the is the Dad's Club committee chair and a member of the Larson PTA Board. You may contact Doug from the Communication/Contact link at the top of this page. Doug challenges every Dad, Grandfather, and Uncle to join up with the Dad's Club to give some special support to our Larson students.
